Meg Myers is amazing. Buy it pls. I accidentally found her on Amazon or something years ago and got goosebumps listening and knew I had to have this album. Her style was so different from anything I had heard and so good. She became a favorite of mine right away. (Take Me To The Disco is also great, go buy that too, and the singles and EPs.)

Discovered this artist in 2019 at a festival. Now I absolutely love all of her releases. This is my favorite though. Lots of great songs on here and her voice captivates me. Motel is probably my favorite.

Some cool music and melody going on here. Sine of the lyrics are cringe-worthy “with these broken wings... take me higher”, but it’s a great start. I’m paying attention.

Her voice is amazing and she sings in her own style - not trying to be anyone else. Deep lyrics and great passion in her music! Love it!

Meg Myers, once again, has stolen my musical heart. Her music is raw and it connects with me. I first saw her while attending a Broods show...and I freaked out with her performance. She stole that show, did so again with all her prior releases, and continues her campaign with this album. With every album she stretches her musical prowess further. This and all her music is "must hear".

I saw Meg Myers in concert last week when she was an opening act for Awolnation in Austin. She was amazing! I love every song on this album.

I love the music, it's catchy, a little dark, and nicely layered without being overly complicated. But someone needs to have a talk with Meg Myers about her lyrics. While her voice is occasionally interesting, the inane lyrics are like bad, pseudo-edgy high school poetry. Not clever or especially deep, the words are repetetive between songs, and not in a cool "theme" sort of way. Sometimes the word combinations don't even make sense. I mean, what in the name of all that's holy are Lemon Eyes? Am I the only one who's lost with that? Is he a squinter? Yellow eyes... doctor... he has jauntice! Hep-C? He's a werewolf! Idk.

After her previous work, I expected more from this album. Sorry is an awesome song, the rest I feel indiferrent to. My biggest issue with this album though is the fact that a quarter of the songs are songs that were released on her previous EPs. It's cheaper to buy each song individually to avoid buying songs I already purchased than it is to buy the whole album.
