Such a beautiful heartfelt song!
Why?

Why change how it sounds? The original is so much better and more meaningful. The upbeat tempo doesn't make sense. This is a song about a girl being neglected and abused by her father. Why would you put that to upbeat music?

The album version is definitely better, but as far as mixes go, this is pretty darn good.
I love the album version

This song is amazing, BUT the album version is so much better. I do not think the techo beats work with the song well.
Different, and Maybe Better?

This was never a standout song of the PBP album for me. The drums are a little awkward and jarring and I always felt they they were trying too hard to make this into some major bombastic song. This version tones down the instrumentation, "pops" and "dances" it up a bit, but ultimately lets her voice be heard better. It also changes the ending and beginning to create a smoother entry and soft, but final end. Very much like someone has said, "I've said what I needed to and that's it" I'm reminded of something attributed to Billy Joel, "how do you end this thing and make ring true?"

Leave it to Kelly to pen the best song she's recorded in years. Her label just doesn't understand the magic she has. I love this radio edit. Its like a new song all over again. I just hope this single gets proper promo. There's no still banner on iTunes letting the world know she's got a single out. Everyone is like Kelly who?
