This album contains some of the best music produced by Coldplay. I recommend Viva La Vida, Glass of Water, Prospekt's March/Poppyfields, Lovers in Japan (Osaka Sun Mix), 42, Cemeteries of London, Life in Technicolor II, Rainy Day, and Strawberry Swing. The songs have amazing background music, which seals the deal for me.
  • Legendary.

Coldplay at their best and most creative. Get the Prospekt's March Edition - in addition to the VLV album, you get a solid EP for two bucks. Highlights: Cemeteries of London, Lost!, 42, Lovers in Japan, Violet Hill, Strawberry Swing, Life in Technicolor (i & ii), Glass of Water, and Prospekt's March/Poppyfields.

its practically the polar opposite compared to the simple nature of the first record but its by far the best thing they've ever done outside of Parachutes. This version with all of the B-sides is the best way to hear this era of the band.
