First and foremost, how is this album with Sanctuary records but removed the second soundtrack “Sanctuary”?!?… anyways BUY IT!!!!!! Buy it because this masterpiece features a live Eddie! Yes that’s right, Eddie is literally alive in the cover art!

The bassist is the best, he is always doing something out side of the riff and it makes it interesting

When I purchased this album on cassette back in ‘81 when I was 12, Sanctuary was on the album in the U.S. It needs to be returned to the original set on this album!!! In my opinion it is a critical track showcasing their early talent that leads the fans into Killers and Number of the Beast…etc. iTunes needs to listen to their customers and work with Iron Maiden to fix this. I rate the album 5 stars on the original version!!!

Hey Apple. Where's Sanctuary? I'm not purchasing this album unless it's added!.

Found this gem after I got comfortable with 80s Bruce. Absolutely fantastic album. Paul sang these songs well, and this goes down in my top 5 for Maiden albums. Pacing and direction is also well paced, with a good mix of fast and slow songs. Up the Irons!

  • Di'anno muted?

Is it just me or is Di'anno's voice muted on this remaster? Sounds like the vocal is mixed down compared to the other instruments....maybe it was that way originally...but certainly sounds better in the live recordings with Di'anno.
