I heartily endorse the commentaries posted before this one. I have little to add. I have many selected tracks from Thomas Newman's various works. I did the math, and at 10 bucks for the whole score it was less than cherry picking the ones I wanted on this one. Go for it!

I loved the movie, but I gotta say that this soundtrack is the delicious icing on the cake. I listen to it regularly. Far as I can tell, the tracks are in chronological order as presented in the movie, so it’s like ‘watching’ this brilliant film over and over. I understand that this rather complex movie has its share of holier-than-thou critics, but Newman’s painterly soundscapes are above all that. Headphones are recommended. 👍🏼

After downloading about 8 songs from the soundtrack, I noticed another song titled END TITLES by Ed Shearmur that was not on the original Passengers soundtrack, yet I believe it was played at the very end of the film. For those of us that have been immersed in Thomas Newman, should add Ed Shearmur's song to their list. It is beautiful.

Thomas Newman writes the best scores ever. Sometimes I feel like the actors are just along for the ride as it is Newman’s musical genius that draws you into every scene and every acted emotion.

The music on this soundtrack is amazing, but Apple screwed me over. Some songs didn't download, and when I tried downloading them, it didn't work. Then, the stupid person I am, tried undownloading all the songs and thought I could redownload them, but now they're gone. So Apple, please help.

I can't stress how beautiful this soundtrack is to me. This is my type of space ambience I wished for a while, would exist. The sheer ambience makes me envision the scenario of complete tranquility and pleasant isolation on the ship out in space.
Music is truly a fascinating thing to have existing. Especially when it's used to create a stunning beauty like this.
