Absolutely incredible album! Saw Plant about 2 months back. He is 100% about the music and it shows on this.
  • Drone.....again.....

More acoustic drone..... no dynamics. He's been going down this road since the Dreamland album. Thats 5 albums worth of essentially the same sound. A few little tweaks here and there so it can be called something different. But essentially the same type stuff. An acoustic drone, sound scapey noises, with a vocal thrown over it only works for so long.
  • I think it's his best solo album yet..

Voice still sounds incredible, any fan knows that.. however I think think the songcraft here is more pleasing and consistent than prior solo albums, though most are very good. This one is special. Sounds natural and a bit hyptnotic. Best new release from any artist that I have heard in a long while. 5 stars all the way.

Like what i hear so far in the clips. To all the Zepp hype lately, I don't think another concert is so important, we're well past hearing them perform that music as it was meant to be performed. They've moved on. What I'd like to hear is them do a new album, just for the sake of doing it. It doesn't mean going backwards, Zepp never went backwards, it would showcase something new, and like Plant & Krause, it doesn't have to be an ongoing thing, just a one off for the love it, for the fans, etc. In the meantime, i'll enjoy this new music from RP.

Robert Plant is one of those musicians that while entering our hearts becomes part of our lives. New romances, loss, rejoicing , even in the death of a loved one, Robert has had the melodies, the lyrics , to keeps on that level of beauty that is life itself. And again with “ Carry Fire” it is as if he leads us by the hand into a surrender of the beauty that surrounds us through his music, his voice , his genius talent. Thank You Friend!

There is nothing else out there to compare to Plant's last several albums. This album also difies genre. All other music has lyrics and vocals. This album has poetry and harmony. I love listening to this album. It will take you on a journey, it will tell you a story, it will make you ask questions, and it will give you answers. Robert Plant is as rewarding to listen to as ever. I would like to thank him for pushing his creativity, and allowing us to tag along.
