Not very often does an album keep me interested to the point where i can sit and listen to the whole thing from start to finish anymore. With that being said i can’t stop listening to this album. 3 minutes in and it put a smile on my face. Completely killed it with this album. Restored my love for Trivium and metal as a whole. Such variations of play styles with this one. Can’t get enough! Now time to learn all the songs so i can cover them!

It's not the heaviest CD for trivium but I did find a couple of hidden gems on the album. Sever the hand, Other worlds, and Beyond Oblivion I would highly recommend. Overall it's a really good cd.

I have been listening to Trivium since the MySpace days, where I actually found them. Ascendancy has a special place in my heart and was my favorite album until this hit! The music may not be as technical as Ascendancy or Shogun but I just feel like the music flows well and definitely brings me back to my 15 year old days of blasting Trivium loud and proud from my room and I will do that once again as a 29 year old man from my car!
