The United States Military Academy Band & Glee Club

The US Military Academy has had singing since 1802 but the Glee club wasn't officially formed until 1903. These sixty five young voices aren't as mature as older groups by their enthusiasm shines through in there performance. If you a fan of west point or just good vocal music this album is for you. The William Tell Overture and the Battle Hymn of the Republic are my favorite ones. They may only be students but you can tell they have a great future ahead of them. If you reminisce about your days at West Point or just for the good ole feel of a college glee club this is the album for you. This is a great compilation of West Point songs, but beware, this is not the most current recording of the Cadet Glee Club. For an updated recording, see the 2005 release of "Stand Ye Steady" by the Cadet Glee Club (CD/DVD) done in the Cadet Chapel or the CD "Voice of the Corps", which also features the Glee Club bt is a few years older.
