This album is very good. Its not original work, but the Caddies pick some of your old favorite punk rock jams and raggae them out flawlessly. I just noticed i have every album that they chose songs from. I really didnt' recognize the songs by name, but as this album played each song is so familiar when you hear them.. Sooooo good. Underated already!! Buy it and enjoy from start to finish. Such a great album. Punk goes Raegae, I absolutely love it.

They're a second-tier Pop band that sang over some bland Ska-ish trackes. Boring.

I’d like to write an in depth review but, man...I really just enjoyed this album all the way through. Loved the reggae sound and bass, loved the horns and solos, loved the vocals and harmonizing. I would’ve liked to hear one or two punk influenced covers, but what is here is excellent! Well produced and executed cover album, thank you Caddies!!
  • Over 10yrs and only 1 album of original material?

First let me say that there's nothing particularly wrong with this album. Rocksteady as a genre is generally chill so the medium to slow pace on all these songs can be expected and considering the frantic pace of most punk the difference in these covers is noticeable. My main issue is that this album just comes off as lazy. Your record producer comes at you with a bunch of songs, you stay in your wheel house of comfort with your style and record! Come on! It's been 4yrs since Dirty Rice (a masterpiece in my opinion) and that puts the boys at 1 album of original material in 10yrs!!! As a fan they owe us more than this and at their pace that may not come for another decade.

I’ve waited awhile and wanted some new material. Seems to be just covers but I’ll take it. Better than nothing.

Have waited forever for some new music from the Caddies and it’s finally in sight. I’ll rate it 5 stars just based on the cover of She. The rest of the album could be bad (doubt it) but I don’t care! I’ll still be buying this song by song till I can buy the whole thing.
