  • MISSING SONGS

This album is good but it’s missing a few songs that they need to put in!!!! Death of Yoda, Vader vs Luke, a jedi’s fury, just the name a few. This is ridiculous that the album is missing songs, get your act together Disney. I wouldn’t suggest buying this.

This soundtrack is legendary, But what happened to the Special Edition with 25 songs?! What happened to ‘ Victory Celebration ‘, that’s the best!!! And ‘ the Final Duel’?! And ‘ Darth Vader’s Death’?! I like that it has ‘ The Emperor ‘ though, because that plays at the part * spoiler * when Darth Vader kills Emperor Palpatine. PLEASE, ITUNES, RELEASE THE SPECIAL EDITION!!!!
  • Yes, this is the original 1983 album.

Nothing is missing from this album: It was pressed back when soundtracks were limited to LP-length discs (CDs had just hit the market), and therefore merely sampled music from multi-hour film scores. John Williams intentionally re-ordered (and re-scored, at least in portions) the “Return” music to present the listener with a harmonious musical journey that stood on its own, independent of the film, just as he did with the original Star Wars soundtrack. Nor is it missing “Victory Celebration” because that track didn’t exist in 1983 – he wrote and recorded it in the 1990s. This album is, track for track, the original real deal. If you want the most complete score (although not entirely complete and, IMO, a bit boring if you're not watching the on-screen action), from “Fanfare” to the bonus track “Forest Battle (Concert Suite), then purchase elsewhere the CD, “Star Wars Episode VI: Return of the Jedi Soundtrack.”

Incomplete soundtrack and not what I originally purchased. It seems Apple can retroactively change your purchased items now.

Why are you doing this? Who thought mixing up Star Wars songs into 1 song was a good idea? Really, who?
  • Missing a lot

The quality is great, but it’s a shame because these new albums only contain a few of the tracks and it’s totally incomplete. We can’t buy the full albums anymore on iTunes so it’s disappointing!

So many songs are missing. I LOVE victory celebration, and it isn’t here. I like that it has into the trap, cause I always liked the rebel fleet, but still so much is missing it kinda stinks.
