Mick Jagger is on the cover of a special edition Rolling Stone magazine because he turned 75. Keith, Charlie, Ronnie, and the rest must be pretty close. So; why buy a 1999 live recording when these guys were in their 50’s (and people were criticizing them for playing at that advanced age). Whatever they’ve got I’d like some. As for the record? Live albums are always good if the sound quality is there, the fans don’t drown out the band, and the performers give it there best. This album meets all these criteria. I accept that each song is not going to sound like the studio version. Why would you want it to, anyway? Over all, they all sound good, most of the instrumentals were cleanly played, vocals, a few downs, but mostly good. You can’t start over when your on stage. So yes, thank you for releasing this live album from this era.

Classic Stones. Always sounded like they were playing and recording in someone’s garage which gives it that raw feel.

I find it curious when I read comments like "money grab" "why release past glories" etc. when the Stones release old shows on Itunes. I just don't get it. Why complain about a vintage release of a full show? Have you all checked out the Grateful Dead Itunes site? No one is accusing them of a money grab. Nope, the fans are just happy they have an opportunity to purchase these shows. Money grab - give me a break. No one is forcing you to purchase these releases folks so please button up your pie holes and let the rest of us decide for ourselves if we want to purchase this music. Keep em' coming Stones, I know there is more gold in them thar' vaults!

It's great to hear a few songs that the Stones don't normally play in concert. I just wish they wuold retire about 5 songs and put more unique songs into their stage show.

I am beginning to believe the Rolling Stones are not human.... they have survived way to many Rock Stars.... Should these guys be gone? Its not really about the nusic anymore .... they just keep releasing past glory.... Why?

The Stones haven's sounded very good live in at least 30 years, but they keep putting out live records. Why? Easy answer: they can record them quick and cheap, and they sell based on the band's 60s/70s reputation. But this is just not good. Mick's vocals are particularly embarassing.
