I thank Andrew Hickey and "The History of Rock and Roll in 500 Songs" for pointing me toward this in his bonus episode on The Scaffold "Thank You Very Much." Go figure. Marvelous.

Sultry smoke filled clubs at 2:00AM in Paris in the 1950's played by the masters of melodic and emotive jazz. This is what I want to hear.

This album has become one of my most favorite of Miles Davis. It is a classic, surreal and has a touch of European flair. It has a depth that draws you in. Five stars to this classic.
