Two months before my ex-wife cheated on me - I asked her if we were okay. I thought our marriage was in trouble. Call it premonition, instinct, or lucky guess. I told her something has changed, something in her eyes. She was offended, almost disgusted, and dismissed my worries.
This song explains that moment perfectly. And it explains her explicitly. She is somebody else. I miss my friend. But that friend is dead. She looks the same, sounds the same, but has become someone completely different. Unrecognizable. It is so sad for her. She used to be beautiful and amazing.
