Always admired his voice. Love singing his songs at karaoke. So glad to hear him sing again.

This album may not be what we remember in days gone by as far as the type of songs, but Steve’s voice remains steady and strong. His voice is so comfortable to me and the emotion with which he sings his songs set him apart. Thank you, Steve. We love you.

A beautiful, sophisticated piece of music fulfilled his promise to his late beloved, Dr. Kellie Nash, the love of his life. The music grows on you, reels you in, and melts your heart. There was a time in your life, if you’re lucky, that you too felt this love. The CD should have won an Emmy.

Doesn’t matter if you like his vocals or not, the songs are just awful.

Keep singing Steve Perry. You were (and still are) the most gorgeous man with the most beautiful and iconic voice. From the generation that grew up with the "real" Journey YOU HAVE BEEN MISSED! And to those that have been imitating Steve's voice....please...get off the stage.

This album is definitely different than the past ones, no doubt, but Perry’s voice remains just as captivating as it was back in the Journey days! Sure, his voice his more raspy, but he’s aging.. what do you expect? Plus, he took a 25 year gap from singing... try doing that, and then come back and judge his voice! Although the songs don’t have that true rock spirit that I’m sure most people wanted, some of the songs really hit hard . . . especially if you know how it feels to lose someone. Also, keep in mind that he wrote this track because his late girlfriend requested that he emerge from isolation. He wasn’t singing or writing during that period either. Thus, a lot of his songs are based on loss. Perry has visibly grown and changed since back then. It’s a great album, and although different, I listen to about half of the songs on it.

Amazing !! Who could come back after so long like lighting striking !!! He’s a natural gifted with this voice !! 💥 Same heartfelt touch still gives me the goosebumps !!! And made my heart skip a beat a blast from the past !! Journey was great !! But just for the record He never needed them they needed him !! Though I FULLY REALIZE that everyone is entitled to their very own opinion which is good... BUT PEOPLE..... to actually give this album a rating of just one star is beyond me - ESPECIALLY WHEN the "critics" claim to be a "huge" fan of Steve. Now I'm not ragging on the less favorable comments that have been left regardless of the reasons, but I would rather like to try to shed just a little light on what is some of the best material Steve has ever shared and shared from the heart. If you are truly indeed a real Steve Perry fan then REALLY LISTEN CLOSELY and you will hear his heart in these offerings and not just his voice - IF and WHEN you [ever] reach that point, then his voice will shine, it will soar and sound the same way as it always has and your heart will smile again. Only our hearts can hear the sound(s) that our ears don't and can't. ...then again that's just my opinion... I too have seen the Blue Jay's fly when my mom went home. 🙏
