Grew up watching this....bruh, I love Ian Gillan as Jesus but....this is the best cast ever. Like i said, on my review for original cast, there are no more powerful great male singers on Broadway or in musicals anymore!! The new versions sound like a cheap Disney rendition!

This was one of my Dads favorite movies to watch and soundtracks to listen to. I had the privilege to see the play live in Lawrence KS when I was little. Ted Neeley was the lead in it as well. Must watch.
  • Has some wonderful songs

I saw this movie when when it originally ran in the theaters and was impressed by the orchestration in the vocals of the cast. While the movie doesn’t hold up, the music does.
