Literally all of the songs are awesome! The standouts are: Pressure, The Dark Side, Dig Down, Break It to Me, and both of the Algorithm songs. Although this album is very different from they're older albums, very different, it's still the same professional band that knows how to keep writing good songs and sound just as great even when sounding extremely different. Though you can still tell it's our old friends, Matt, Dom, and Chris.
Just Give It A Chance........

I have been a long time MUSE fan for 7 years, and so when I first heard this album.......I’m not going to lie, I was horrified.
HOWEVER!
I listened to it a little more and I started to warm up to the songs. Now it is by far my favorite album on my iPod! I have to say, another great album!
TRACK BY TRACK:
Algorithm: I LOVE THIS SONG SO MUCH! The synths are legit, the lyrics kick butt, and...well, there isn’t much else to say! 9/10
Dark Side: Probably my least favorite out of all of the tracks, but still a cool song! Not really sure the lyrics fit with the actual song though. I feel like they could have done so much more with the theme. 5/10
Pressure: Love this song so hard. I think that the lyrics and the music really flow! A few months ago, if you had told me that one of my favorite Muse songs would have prominent brass, I would have told you you were nuts, but this song makes me totally rethink that! 9/10
Propaganda: I know that this song is totally different from all their other songs, but I honestly just love it. Everything seems to fit well together, I love the falsetto, and, of course, the booming synth voice at the chorus. What’s not to love? Honestly, just LISTEN FOR A BIT. Who says that Muse has to be confined to one genre? Not this girl! 10/10
Break it To Me: Another win! I love the guitars (albeit a little crazy), and I like the rap-like turn as far as vocals and drums go. Just makes me wanna dance. 10/10
Something Human: Another great song. It really just fills you with so much happiness, and I love the acoustic guitar! Really adds depth. 8/10
Thought Contagion: I have loved this song from the minute I heard it. Everything about it rocks. Just listen, you’ll get it. (P.S go see this live. It’ll knock your socks off) 8/10
Get Up and Fight: Another pop-like song, but honestly I can’t imagine this album without it. At first, this song really bugged me, but after a few plays it was one I listen to all the time! It’s a really great pump-u-up anthem. 7/10
Blockades: Now THIS is what I was expecting with this album. Powerful lyrics, epic drums and stacked harmonies? Yep, that’s Muse. 8/10
Dig Down: Again, this one took a little getting used to, especially considering the first time I heard it was at the Simulation Theory tour (Woo Hoo!) and they played it acoustic. TOTALLY not the same. You just can’t recreate the soulful feel of this song. Another great power anthem. 7/10
The Void: This one was a bit weird. It seems like the more recent albums have one song at the end that really sums up the feel of the album (Anyone remember Drones?), and once I started thinking of this song as the ‘centerpiece’, it made a lot more sense. 5/10
AND OF COURSE, THIS WOULDN’T BE COMPLETE WITHOUT THE REMIXES.....
I’m gonna try to keep these short, I’ve already taken up lots of space...
Algorithm: EEEEEEEE! My favorite song I own. Muse KNOCKED IT OUT OF THE PARK WITH THIS ONE! The synths, the bass, the lyrics, the brass, it’s all PERFECT. I want MORE LIKE THIS. 100/10
Dark Side: ew 1/10
Propaganda: ew 1/10
Something Human: I actually like this. It’s really just more guitar. If I didn’t already have the real song, I would buy this instead.
Dig Down: ew 1/10
