I am a huge Morrissey fan. This album is pointless. How many time are you going to release the same songs on the compliation albums. At least make put out a live album.

The man is a genre onto himself. One of Englands greatest musical treasures. Thank you Morrissey for speaking up for the million plus children raped in the name of a death cult otherwise hidden by the media.

This is a pathetic excuse for a compilation. After all these years and so many great songs, this is truly an insult to him and his fans. Shame!

You're buying this. Are you ok with what he believes?

Its a shame Steven Patrick didn't retire after Viva Hate. He could have been an enigmatic, influential, adored, genius. Instead, he'll be remembered for being a greedy and turgid twit.

As much as I wanted to disagree with the negative reviews, after a painful listen I must concur. I'm having trouble believing this but Morrissey apparently put this disconnected catalog together himself. According to an interview with Fiona Dodwell about the making of the album Morrissey said: “It’s difficult to choose because so many of the songs are fantastic. The album is so full of life, and worthy questions, and great choruses, and quite playful. It’s a very underrated catalogue, but perhaps everyone feels this way about their own songs.” Yes, so many of the original songs were and are fantastic. Unfotunately, you picked versions of them that are horrifically bad in what I can only imagine is an effort to squeeze a few more shillings out of them.

Sounds like it was engineered by a drunk hobo who proceeded to spill bong water and Schlitz all over the master tapes and then died on top of them.
  • What is this crap?

OK, I love Morrisey, but this is crap. It must be a record company gimmick to get some money, because I can't belive Morrissey would allow this compilation of his worst songs (except for Everyday is Like Sunday) out the door... and the worst "remix" of Suedehead one could imagine... it must be a gimmick..... Get his albums or other compliations, skip this crap.

All of these tracks were great originally (just for that I won't give it one star) - no need to "Re-issue! Re-package! Re-package! Re-evaluate the songs."
