Although I love Live as a band, I’m one that thinks the separation opened new, exciting doors for all. I’m all for a reunited project, but I hope Ed continues to create solo work. It felt like progress whereas this reunification feels like a step back. I guess we’ll see...

Love Lounge is real good typical Live song. Picks up where they left off with “The Turn” except with Ed back on vocals. After that I don’t know where they were trying to go with that but it’s straight up bad. I’m hoping they get back to the drawing board and quick.
  • There was hope!

When I first heard Love Lounge, I saw a glimmer of hope on the horizon! I thought “This could be their true comeback!” Well, not so fast!! The EP brings nothing new to the table. With the exception of Love Lounge, the rest of the EP is dull. The lyrics could have been written my a grade school kid!

I saw Ed K. do a solo set in a SMALL church for charity a few yrs.ago. Unbelievable talent. Was really something special.
  • Surprisingly good!

"The Distance to Here" was the last great LIVE album for me, so I wasn't expecting much here, but I was pleasantly surprised! This sounds like a natural progression of what I would have expected to come out after "The Distance...". The Vocals and melodies sound more like their later 90's material and I love that the guitars are grittier and more rockin' than the last few LIVE albums. Ed's vocals sound great too! keep going guys...wish it was a full album in this new sound!
  • Trying to hard

Sounds like they lost a lot of footing and are trying really hard to write a single here. So it has that record company sound which i dont like. Also it's very 90s still.

5 TRACKS? NOT REALLY ENGAGING LYRICS OR MELODIES THAT LIVE IS KNOWN FOR! IT'S OK! GIVE IT A SPIN!
  • What happened Ed?

Dear Ed, what can I do to help you bring back the the creativity that gave birth to Throwing Copper? Why continue when this is all you have to offer? Why insist upon joining the milieu of disposable modern Rock bands? Stand out or sit down.
