Reviews

  • A veritable greatest hits album

No wonder this album doesn’t have the typical Apple review narrative above the tracks…glam metal never got its deserved respect…especially this timeless achievement. This album is so good, it’s a veritable Whitesnake greatest hits. Tracks like Crying In The Rain, Bad Boys, Still of the Night, Here I Go Again (one of the most replayed songs EVER), Gimme All Your Love, Is This Love, and Looking for Love (my fav WS song). Name ANY band with 7 hits on one album. One of the most underrated albums (and singers) of all time.

Sounds Amazing. Hit play and suddenly I’m back in my 85 Mustang GT. 17 years old in the summer of 1987. Man doesn’t get any better then WS!!
  • Best rock album of 1987

I remember when this album came out in 87. It was so different from anything else that year. It wasn’t heavy metal, it wasn’t soft rock and it wasn’t the same type of hard rock everyone else had been putting out. It was guitar focused on some songs and almost no guitar on others. It was hit 170 mph on the Kawasaki Ninja on some songs and slow dance with your special girl on others. It was the essential “road trip” album. And last, but not least, it felt like normal minded, mature men, not immature guys or guys with a satan complex composed it. If you haven’t had the opportunity to listen to this album, your definitely in for a real treat! There are no bad songs! I think you will enjoy it as much as I still do 32 years later.
  • Sounds exactly the same. Remastered?? Nope

I played this "remaster" and the original and they sound identical. No difference at all.
