Whew! 15 years ago you say? Get the heck out. In my eyes, this is AB’s 3rd best album. They currently have 5 full albums out now, with a 6th on the way. This fall as a middle of the road album. Songs like Down to My Last, Open Your Eyes, Metalingus, etc. You just can’t find this in AB’s arsenal anymore. That’s what makes this album special. Mark’s special tunings.
  • I love this album!

This is my first time hearing this album, and sounds good! Can’t say why, but it’s still good! And I really miss those old school of 2000’s rock!

Of the five AB Records released thus far this one is for sure, without any doubt my favorite. One of my gripes with the later stuff these guys have put out is that they hire Michael Baskette to produce every album, not just the AB albums, but also the Tremoni solo stuff and Myles solo stuff and even Myles/Slash stuff. It all starts to sound to similar. You'd think they'd want to differentiate the bands from one another. But I digress...The production on this album was done by Ben Grosse who did Sevendust's third album. It has the best sound of any of their albums, the drums are punchy, the guitars are clean and mean when they need to be, Myles vocals aren't so over the top and grating as they have been in recent years. His vocal delivery is full of emotion and nuance, and truly beautiful. The songs are some of their best too, not necessarily as ambitious as some of the later stuff, but nonetheless great. I miss days
