You guys lost everything that made your sound magic. Go back to Matt G and Adam D.

Only 4 members of the band wrote the songs for this album. 2 just listened from afar and then they put it out. How do you write an album without your other guitar player or bass player there? I like that they constantly change direction of music, but I feel like this should’ve been something for Spencer’s side project. My opinion is nothing but a grain of salt, but it’s still my opinion.

Such a great album. My fav song probably being Hold your breath. Wish this album had a higher rating which it definitely deserves. Seems like some Christians are upset some of the band are atheists now and their songs aren’t all about the topic of religion. That’s understandable, but those ratings don’t reflect the objective music quality. I really think this album is so good. Love their old stuff and love this new direction which at its core really is still their core sound. Proud to hear one of my favorite bands make an album together as adults and being mature about everything and actually talking to each other. I’ve heard interviews from several of them and it seems this is the first album everyone had proper communication with and if they didn’t like something they actually vocalized it. Saw them in concert too and it was so intense and was the most memorable concert I’ve been to. I miss a bit of Aaron’s voice mixed in but maybe in the next album!?

I’m a long time Underoath fan. This album is extremely disappointing. I feel like all I hear is “we’re not Christian anymore so F F and F.

I’ve been a long time Underoath fan and was super stoked to hear about their reunion and them making new music. This new stuff really isn’t Underoath. It’s Sleepwave 2.0. I’m not against change but this direction was just bad. If Spencer wants to sing so bad then he should do that with his side project, like he originally did. It seems like Aaron takes a back seat in this album which is disappointing. And then there was all this forced emphasis on “we’re not Christian anymore”. Okay dude that’s fine. I mean as a Christian I’m disappointed they lost faith but I came here for the music. Focus on the music. It really just seems like they made new music to capitalize on revenue from a “comeback”. Pretty sad honestly.
  • Two stars for two songs

I’m just not into it. I’ve tried multiple times, but without anything standing out as memorable. To each their own.
  • I sow them in concert
