I remember when this album dropped. It was my first semester of college, I had been with my now husband of 8 years for only a few months. I drove a 2004 Hyundai Elantra and would play this on my drive every morning to class. She was my inspiration for some of my design work in my architecture classes.
When I say I love this woman with my whole heart I mean it. Her music is healing and so positive. She doesn’t BELT, that’s not her style and if you’re looking for that then don’t come here. But please… don’t say anything bad about it. She’s not mean, vindictive or messy. She just wants to heal and help.
