Josh Ritter continues his tradition of excellent song-writing and rich, vintage sounds. Great album.
New to Ritter

I’m new to Josh Ritter, this being the first of his albums I’ve heard. It’s outstanding and it’s turned me into a fan. Having now heard a few of his earlier works, I get how Fever Breaks May be gentler than some fans are used to, but isn’t an artist permitted to explore different styles? This is a different style done remarkably well. Enjoy.

I’ve owned every josh Ritter album and pre ordered this one, this one is quite boring...
It's Not His Best

I'm a decade long Ritter fan, have seen him perform dozens of times, and this is by far his weakest album. I'm not sure if it's the absence of the Royal City band or the lack of emotion in his voice, it's just not offering anything new or interesting.
Another great album
