Honestly, it took me a few listens to really be able to hear the songs, but after you do this album is incredible. As a whole, it’s a complete piece of art, but the songs are still amazing as standalone pieces

Devin has fast become my favorite musician as he always surprises, inspires, and moves me. Not only as a lover of music, but as a human being. This is his magnum opus, seemingly a cumulative result of his entire life musical experience...so far. Bravo!

The album is fantastic. And, as always, the music is refreshingly unique and moving. However, it seems that the vocals are lost in the mix to some degree. It’s like the vocals were put in the mix with too low of a volume to allow them to stand out and be as impactful or defined as they should be. I find myself wishing that his powerful and moving voice would be able to break through as I listen.
The overall result is still amazing! I’m going to be listening to this album, exclusively, for quite some time to be sure

Devin Townsend is an artist who keeps his music fluid and purposeful, unafraid of “sounding different” and not locked down by tunings or “the way it’s done.”
This album is another perfect example of an musician showing us what he’s got in mind for his sound.
And I’m glad we get to share in it!
