  • Want my money back

Love this song but, I couldn’t tell from the preview that it is a live version with crowd noise. Not suitable for my purposes.

Paul Simon's songwriting and guitar paired with Art's voice reach perfection in this song. Most of us with a soul long for that mystic union with another human, however fleeting it may be. This song captures well that moment. My Enligsh prof at UC Irvine in 1977-78 disparaged S&G as "old school" and was all for Fleetwood Mac. Listening to Christine's "Songbird" shows that however cool FM was at the time, there was always a pull back to that mysterious union which overode all the games that those poor musicians had to play to put out that wonderful album.
  • LOUD clapping at beginning of a lot of songs

The clapping is so loud on some of these tracks and some are live and aren’t labeled live. Good songs but the clapping is way louder than the rest of the audio file. I thought this album was digitally remastered by Apple, but was not.

Simon and Garfunkel’s music is nostalgic poetry. The Sounds of Silence stills strikes a chord . . . there’s only a few epic songs, and this is one of them. Another poetic song, I am a Rock, also elicits strong internal emotions.
  • Poor Audio Volume

The applause at the beginning and end of the songs is much too loud. Several of the tracks have volume too low with obnoxiously loud applause at the beginning. Very disappointed with the audio quality.
  • Grew up with them. Long car rides. Pause. Now love.

What them in a concise album? This is it! LOVE! (Oh. Yeah. Imagine 12 hour car rides with your parents. Joan Baez and Simon & Garfunkel and Puff the Magic Dragon ... fine, the latter was my favorite in the rare “children’s album “ my sweet rents played. And Beethoven. Because I love his 5th. Three musical artists. Frequent 12-hour car rides. 1970’s. One of them being Simon & Garfunkel. This is a two CD compilation of S&G, and I highly recommend.
