half•alive has released a most impressive debut. Every single song has something unique to offer, and they all have well crafted lyrics and melodies that stick in your head. ok ok? is the strongest song in my opinion with its trippy rhythm that is absolutely mind bending, and a floaty chorus and beautiful layering. The entire album shows a band at what would seem like the peak of musical curiosity, although this is only the beginning. (I hope) it can only get better from here.
