i’ve seen people criticizing taylor bc her lyrics are “too profound” and you “don’t know what it means”, and suddenly when she becomes more of a pop singer with simpler lyrics, people still think it has no meaning. what? you don’t have to like taylor’s music, but if you’re here to hate on her just because she’s so much better than you are, you don’t need to. why you gotta be so mean? taylor’s a person too, watch miss americana (her documentary) and you’ll know. so, the next time u try to hate on her for absolutely no reason other than, “ew her lyrics are simple like every other pop singer”, get a valid reason. taylor didn’t do anything to you, and her songs have more meanings than you think, if you actually listened to all the songs.
