This is typical Meghan music. I do hope she reinvents herself for the next album. All about that bass, lips are movin’ both brilliant. But time to leave that sound behind and move on. Lady Gaga and Taylor Swift to name a few for instance who are very inventive and diverse. We want to look forward to an artist who does that with new music. It makes us excited to see what’s next for them and us.

Well, the minute Kole started singing her song, I was sure that it was amazingly suitable for Meghan and so I thought she was going to pick either Alone or the other song just to go and try a different direction. I like “Hurt Me” - it is indeed catchy, boppy, the kind of radio friendly song that one might want nowadays. Final cut is a tad overproduced (Teddeeeer why oh why), but overall is a good song.
