Short, sweet, and to the point

I've just recently gotten into this band, and after listening through their last two albums, Nothing Left To Love really shows how their songwriting has progressed. Instrumentally heavy and riffy throughout, and yet melodic, emotional, and lyrically heavy when it needs to be. This is what good metalcore should sound like, and these boys nailed it on this album. One of the best of recent years, it's THAT good.

Counterparts has got to be one of the most consistent bands out there.. wasn't too stoked about the last album, but Nothing Left to Love is possibly their best album to date. The album has a DBHAH and TWFU vibe, but with a more refined/progressive sound. Have to call out that The Hands That Used to Hold Me is an instant classic... amazing work boys.

counterparts has been my favorite band for about 6 or 7 years now and provided some nice music and and incredible live show over the years. they all seem like awesome people. i’m thankful for the music they make and how much heart the put into it. buy the record, you dummies.
