Barely Remastered

I decided to compare this supposedly remastered version that I bought on iTunes with my original CD. Turns out, the waveforms are slightly different if you visually inspect and compare them side by side, but you REALLY have to look. No wonder I couldn't hear a difference. Some tracks are almost exactly the same as the CD from the 90's. So how is this remastered? I'm a die hard fan of this band, but this is a poor marketing gimmick. If you don't have this album yet, then by all means buy this version. If you've already bought it, though, this version honestly adds little value to what you already have. Just being honest. Aside from the gimmick, this is a 5 star iconic album.
