These guys have perfected their formula. Really digging this. Definitely more exciting and complicated than the last one.

The break did these guys well. This is the best work from Intronaut since void and null. Lots of new ideas from start to finish. Previous couple albums were getting stale but this has some genuinely impressive moments that make you take notice again and again.

Cubensis: 9s over 12s, 7/8, rests between transitions that give the listener an alternate way to follow the shifting angular rhythms, melodic, groovy, heavy, silly, meandering, percussive, countering meters, expansive lyrics, experimental in origin, yet precise in translated execution. The video is a blast. Expertly crafted trip of a track. Sounds like the intro to the album is included in the video. It’s a wild organized chaos that grooves hard. I’m a lifer for these guys. I’ve seen them live more that any other band and will continue to when the opportunity is there. Great dudes with some serious talent and ambitious releases.

For long-time fans, it still sounds like Intronaut and possesses all of the great attributes that have marked their previous work ... but it's definitely different that what came before and is all the more exhilierating for exploring new frontiers. Remarkable achievement to pull this off despite having parted ways with such a great drummer. Dunable, Timnick, Lester, and Ruddinger have evidently created another Intronaut masterwork.
