Painful to hear

This old guy sounds ancient and has nothing to say original. I’d rather listen to Joe Rogan.

Neil Young once had the tiger by the tail. Alas, those days are long ago. This set of songs. Is rehash and lightweight, noting to cause awe or to inspire.
Thanks Neil for many years of good tunes and your energy. Looks like it's time for the porch and a rocking chair.
Great Music But Over-Priced

The music itself is great - classic Neil Young from the mid-70's. But at only 35 minutes, the album is vastly over-priced, especially given that "Florida" is just Neil gabbing about weird things that he has seen in Florida.

Neil Young fans will likely enjoy many of the tracks on this album, some of which they have heard before. There’s a lot of good music here and some excellent arrangements as well. Even though the album is uneven, the moving moments far outweigh the rest.
Why?

How do I get my money back for purchasing this piece of crap? These songs should have remained buried somewhere in the 70s. There’s obviously a reason they weren’t released back then. Very disappointing!

Great new old stuff, very needed. A blast back into that awesome 70’s sound of rock n roll. Take a ride down Sunset late afternoon windows down music up it all comes back.

At least 4 of these songs have already been released and honestly most of these are snoozers. Overhyped in my opinion, these songs need more development
I know why it wasn't released...

This is an album that was rightly rejected for release. It's not very good. The material is almost all love songs a relationship he's in. Was it his wife Pegi? Who knows. The first few songs sound like Harvest-era output are only so-so. But then comes this bizarre Florida rant that's just tiresome. I can't imagine why they included this noise. The next song sounds like it's from another era, a boozy bar blues tune whose production sound is decidedly not Harvest-era. Then it's right back to Harvest-era with a somg called White Line which is one of the better songs on the album. Next up is Vacancy which is a pretty good up-tempo elctric guitar rocker that sounds nothing like the Harvest-era.
But what all these songs are lacking is the hook, the chord changes that make Neil's song so compelling. You can see why they didn't release them already. They just don't have the magic.
You get the idea. I'm fine having it in my collection but i can't see going back to it very often. It's not Harvest!
