What I think.

Like that it has a remake of Soundgarden, The Day I Tried To Live & it has a tower of rocks & the artwork cover kinda looks like the Fox river lake in Oshkosh Wisconsin out by the highway.
I love Sevendust...but not this.
Hate to say this...but the album “Black Out the Sun” was their latest amazing album. Everything they have put out since including this latest album is just watered down and very boring and generic.
I will say that the song “Love” on this album is perfect...I cannot say the same for the rest.
I truly feel like the only reason they put this album out was purely for contract obligations and mainly for the money. This album does not have the heart and soul that they have of that in their older albums.
I love “Sevendust” and was really looking forward to another amazing album from them...this has let me down and I will continue to listen to their older material.
Perhaps they just need a few years off and return refreshed and write the phenomenal music they are capable of. I believe...:)>
Still my favorite band!
Black out the sun has been the best album since Clint’s has returned. This album is good not great. Sevendust needs a Clint driven album and less John... sorry John but Clint licks are just better. Clint’s album was great instrumentally but lacked Lajon’s voice... Let’s try for a Home or Seasons like album this next year. I guess I’m just an “Old Dust Head” Less computer usage just saying...
These guys continue to work their tails off to get great new music out to their fans. Love it!
Dying to Live starts the ablum out with a bang. Lajon shows again his range from heavy to soft and melodic throughout the album. Clint is always on his game (check out God Bless The Renegades). John is solid as ever especially with his writing. Vinnie continuse to be the Boss. Morgan (one of the best drummers in rock) brings it. Love the Morgan screams. My current favorite tune from the album is Criminal.

Feel like going on is by far the best album on that album.
Had to listen a few times before I could really start to hear the Animosity/Seasons influence. This is great work from the heart.
