Following their success of single "Devil" just days ahead of a full-year wait, CLC is shooting even higher with their standout message among K-pop's plethora of girl crush, dark, and visual concepts. Main rapper Jang Ye-Eun spits even hotter flames with two separate rap verses, the second especially seeming to drive the production's rapidly-spinning propellors, while Kwon Eun-Bin reinstates her position as lead rapper with her fiercest charisma since "Hobgoblin." Main vocalist Oh Seung-Hee and lead vocalist Chonnasorn Sajakul hit powerful high notes during the final chorus, not to mention their verses adding both curiosity and intensity to the mix. In the full MV experience, the visuals of lead dancers/vocalist Elkie Chong and Choi Yu-Jin are represented as breaths of fresh air, while leader and main dancer Jang Seung-Yeon also captivates the calming pre-chorus while portraying the helicopter's fuel through her physical performance. In all, Cheshires can continue to be inspired by the CLC's literally crystal-clear impact that's only beginning to take the entire world by storm. In the midst of people's psychological detoriations and low morale during the already present emergencies of this global pandemic, Cube's senior girl group came just in time to rescue the world from the abyss of fear. While staying curious about the future, "Helicopter" reminds us all to go up.
