Gotta admit besides the banger music the reference to the 1998 Square video game Parasite Eve actually proved to be a pleasant surprise.

I can’t believe I hadn’t heard of BMTH until recently! Now I’m obsessed! I haven’t felt an album in my soul like this since I was in 8th grade and Linkin Park’s Hybrid Theory came out! I love everything about this music!!

BMTH knocked this EP out of the park. The creativity and musicality of this rock fest are heads and shoulders above anything else I’ve heard in the last year. Epic collaborations, blistering breakdowns, thundering riffs, glorious and sweeping choruses, this EP has it all. These songs have buried themselves in my subconscious and just fill my brain at all hours of the day. Everything here is good, but the most unique track is also the best in my opinion: “One Day the Only Butterflies Left Will Be In Your Chest as You March Towards Your Death.” Humanity has darn near killed the Earth and Oli isn’t gonna let anyone off the hook without a giant dollop of emotional destruction to shame us all for what we’ve wrought. I wish I could get computers and instruments to make the sounds Jordan Fish & co have placed on these tracks, kudos.

After listening to this I have to say Amo was definitely a period of growth end evolution for the band. This album appears to be a mash up of old sounds and new vibes and these songs hit hard in a new way. BMTHforever.

This Album/EP from Bring Me The Horizon is very amazing and really good. I’m happy they went back to their heavier roots while still evolving with the sound of music they come out with. Kingslayer with BABYMETAL of all collaborations is one of my favorite songs, Oli bringing back his DeathCore/MetalCore growl/screams are perfect and it shows he still has it. Obey is very catchy with a powerful Hard Rock mix adding YUNGBLUD in the song was very well done. Obviously we knew how strong Ludens/Teardrops/Parasite Eve were before this album fully released. I didn’t mind Amo and it was definitely not my favorite, but BMTH bounced back with the energy in POST HUMAN: SURVIVAL HORROR

Honestly the whole album is a banger. 1x1 is my favorite. When I saw Amy Lee’s name on the last track I was like ugh really? But it’s a beautiful song; Oli’s voice is just amazing. The only song I skip over is Dear Diary - it’s just too noisy for me. Overall though I love the album. -from an OG bmth fan <3
