i bought cyn’s song uh-oh during preorder because i adore cyn and her music. i knew nothing about the movie except that cyn had an exclusive track only on the soundtrack, uh-oh. i already had drinks by cyn. i saw this movie available to purchase a few weeks ago and saw it starred carey mulligan and bought it immediately because carey mulligan is one of my favorite actresses. i started watching it without having seen any trailers and about 45 minutes or so into the movie i paused it and came here to buy the rest of the soundtrack after hearing donna missal’s nothing’s gonna hurt you baby and all the songs up to that point. the entire soundtrack is phenomenal and so is the film. the movie is now one of my favorites. one of the best films i’ve ever seen, and one of the best soundtracks for a film i’ve heard in a long time. every song is amazing and it flows so well as an album and the songs fit so well into the film. it was 6 dollars or less to complete my album since i had previously purchased uh-oh by cyn and i got the movie for 20 dollars. it was money well spent. i can’t recommend the film or soundtrack highly enough. i’ve listened to the soundtrack countless times on repeat and watched the film several times. i adore angel of the morning but have always preferred merrilee rush and the turnabouts version of the song but this movie has made me a fan of juice newton’s version as well. if you’re debating buying either the soundtrack or the film just do it, trust me they are both spectacular. if you’re a fan of carey mulligan it’s a no brainer, she gives a deeply rewarding performance that will leave you in awe. every artist on the soundtrack contributes beautiful and breathtaking works of art. the movie works with movies anywhere, so you can watch it most anywhere. i bought it on xbox in the microsoft movies and tv app and it is available to watch on xbox in my amazon prime, vudu, and microsoft movies, - apple movies app and vudu app on my iphone and ipod touch, - and on my pc through microsoft movies or vudu or amazon prime, - and on my tv through prime. thank you so much cyn for being a part of this masterpiece of sound and screen and bringing it to my attention or i never would have known about it! i can’t thank you enough for that! if you haven’t seen trailers for it don’t, just go into it blind like i did, it is such a rewarding experience. it is truly brilliant and a breath of fresh air, a work of cinematic and musical genius. if i could i would give 100 stars to the film and soundtrack. =^_^= 💜
