I've been listening to this pretty much nonstop for the past few days, and am enjoying it immensely. Great compositions and arrangements with a terrific big band. The fact that it's a Christmas album is icing on the cake - nice to have something entirely new added to a rather tired genre.

Unusual good Christmas album with *new* songs

Mr. Cullum obviously spent serious time and effort composing and arranging these new songs. He pays his respects to previous Christmas jazz albums by imitating some classic styles and using a big band sound on a few tracks. The title track has a great melody and sentiment though some listeners may find it a little sad.
