I was digging through some cds I have.... Then I came across this buried in the "Forgotten section." (lol) So, as anyone would naturally do, I imported it into my Itunes. When I started it... I have to say, honestly... I was BORED with it. But then I continued listening, then I started to enjoy the New-age music. Then I got to "Moondance." I was hypnotized by the haunting melody. Absoultley the best song in my opinion. Although, the WHOLE ALBUM is fantastic.

Brings back memories while relaxing with new music.
  • A rare Lynn Ray vocal cut!! Often a ghost singer for the stars, this one's a keeper!

Kitaro strikes gold with Lynn Ray's completely improvised vocal on the title cut--Brilliant stroke of genius by Mickey Hart to bring in this rarely recorded SF Bay Area gospel vocal gem. Lynn Ray has been a fixture in San Francisco Bay Area churches and for decades as "Sister Ray" singing from the Lighthouse Singers and Oakland/Nor Cal chapter of the Gospel Music Workshop of America choir--rare indeed! Combining her voice with the wonderful Jeannie Tracy brings a gorgeous dimension to Kitaro's inspired compositions.
