His first album was amazing, second album pretty good, but this album is absolutely horrendous. The songwriting on this album can’t get any worse than it it is. You can tell it was produced by someone that’s doesn’t have the same skills as Cobb. It feels like Phil had full control on this one. Madelyn is an amazing song, everything else belongs in the demo vault never to be heard of again.

I love Anderson’s first two albums. Now I feel like I’m listening to a Breakfast Club soundtrack… a couple good ones but missing the bluesy feel.
I miss the brass.
