Olympia by Gorgon City is a good album; however, it’s nothing spectacular. All the songs range from decent to good but none of the tracks soar to greatness. The last track where the vocalist is singing “freedom” just came off cringy, imo. The album is an okay listen and there’s really no bad tunes but nothing really exciting as far as I’m concerned. I guess I don’t particularly get off on this type of understated, soulful dance music. Edit: So I’m back to add a star to my review because I do enjoy the album quite a bit more after revisiting it — there’s some really good tunes on here. I do like some songs much more than others but it’s a solid dance album overall. Lots of sweet grooves and bassy beats.

What happened ?
Gorgon City we’re decent when I saw them in Miami 2015.
This is EDM pop garbage with the most terrible out of tune singing I’ve heard in my entire life.

The song "House Arrest" is phenominal! I heard the preview to this song and immediately purchased this album. The album is fantastic and I love it; however, this song is Everything! Gagged!

There’s very few dance albums that I’d rate 5/5 but this is one of them. If you’re even a casual fan of dance music, this album will get you moving with EVERY. SINGLE. TRACK.
