Great Country Music For Boat or Beach

I see a few people throwing out butt hurt comments referencing FGL. Get over it. I heard Party On The Beach probably a month before putting 2 and 2 that this was the underrepresented member of FGL and checked out the rest of his solo album. My favorite country songs are the ones that give me the lake or beach vibes…. This album checks all the boxes for me. Boat Names, Savannah, Party On The Beach, Beach Cowboy, I could go on. I don’t think there is one bad song on this entire album and these days there aren’t many albums I can say that about. Looking forward to seeing what he comes out with next.

This was definitely written during Covid. I think every song is about water and the beach. And I think the water and the beach is in Florida. Girls at the beach, sand at the beach, sun at the beach, horses at the beach, fish close to the beach and all things Florida. I think there’s also a beer in there somewhere. He managed to find 17 different ways to say the same thing.

What a fantastic debut from Florida Georgia Line’s Brian Kelley! The man is being himself with this music and it shows how confident he truly is as a solo musician and songwriter. A lot of great, catchy lyrics about boat ridin’, fishin’, his woman, his hometown, his life and his passions!

From a traditional country fan this album is awesome top to bottom.. real instruments being played including fiddle and steel. Perfect soundtrack for the lake and beach! Shocked at how good this is.

So he can actually sing country. The duo had some good songs left but what I’m hearing from him is actually country.
Why couldn’t they do this before? Songs actually sound country.
