Moral Panic II - EP

The first 3 songs are amazing. Love the heavy, twisted, electronic blend. First time hearing them

Excellent Band with excellent music.

I'm a huge fan of this band. Broken Machine and Moral Panic I are my two all-time favorite albums. This EP is a great addition, but it includes the first song by this band that I have not liked. I love that this band is dynamic, innovative, and always pushing boundaries, but Ce n'est Rein is their venture into heavy metal headbanger music, a genre I dislike intensely. The rest of the EP is good enough to make up for it, especially Your Blood, which is a masterpiece, so I still give it five stars.

I think you'll see these a lot from acts that put out albums during the pandemic. These stop gap eps in between the albums of 2020 and whatever they put out in 2022. The way to look at them is the idea that "One Man's Whiskey is another man's wine." its neat to see some songs that maybe werent as flushed out for Moral Panic the First or were not chosen for that album. I'd be interested to hear which of these songs were contenders for the Moral Panic album because it would be neat to see what made it in. Fleetwood Mac famously booted "Silver Springs" off of Rumours in favor of "I Don't Want to Know" so I wonder what songs were like that here. Moral Panic (The first) was a terrific album. Nothing But Thieves is a gift in that they always shake up the music for their audience. Listen to songs like "13," or "Soda" from their Broken Machine album, or the second side of Moral Panic the First and you'll see a band that has a terrific spectrum to their writing. Unperson from Moral Panic and Graveyard Whistling from their first abum could not be further apart musically, yet if youre a listener of The Thieves' they fit like continents in Pangea. Moral Panic II is another example of this. They are a really cool band. Where most bands scale down their sound, Nothing But Thieves is still pushing the walls out. You're cooler for listening to music like this. Great work!!!

I’m going to be honest I LOVE NBT I’ve been a fan since broken machine. And this EP is pretty good. I loved futureproof when it came out it is one of my favorite NBT songs. When I heard miracle baby I thought it was pretty good a solid 7/10. But your blood has an amazing build and I love it. Ce nest rien is not my style. I like the verses but the chorus is too metal for me. I love rock, rock is the best but I am not a metal head I like hard rock but metal and heavy metal is not my thing so I’m sure many people but it’s not for me. Overall this album is a solid 8/10. I forgot to mention that I am in love with Connor mason’s voice right now in my opinion he has the best voice alive[best of all time is Freddy murcury] but Connor mason is amazing)
