This album is so needed in our culture today. It truly points to God and inspires me, and their electro rock sound is unique. I am in love with it!!! Skillet is the best rock band!!!!!

In my personal opinion (and I’ve been a panhead since comatose) This album is their best work! It’s perfectly balanced between being hard-hitting and being vulnerable “Valley of Death” perfect balances out “Surviving The Game” and “Standing In the Storm” and “Forever or The End” adds beautiful vulnerability In between “Destroyer” and “Ignite” 10/10 for me! Check this out!

I love this album! I have been a Skillet fan from the 90’s. I got my kids on them. This Album is by far my favorite. It surpassed Victorious which help me throw a difficult time. This Album with songs like Destiny is just what rock is all about. Plus there is meaningful lyrics and a soul. A time when this Nation actually had balls and fought for something. I have been blessed to see the next generation listening to this album and fighting against the lies. This album is worth your time. Take it back

ok first of this is for the cry babies who don’t know how long it takes them to make a song I used to be a rapper but I quit being a rapper took lots of effort and time so don’t be one of those people. Now for the good stuff Skillet you guys have been in my life for since I was 7 and my dad listens to you to you guys have changed me so much if I did not find this band I don’t know if I would even be here typing this up right now.

One of Skillets better albums. My favorite songs are Surving a the Game, Refuge even though it’s slow I know it from the Christian radio stations I like It about sixty percent since it’s kind of still quiet rock and since the radio plays it and I forty percent do not like it because it is is slow and boring. I also like other songs such as Psycho In My Head which is on their Newer version of the album Called Dominion: Day Of Destiny.

This album is just outstanding. What else can I say? The only dud on this album was White Horse but that is it. The rest? Awesome, just awesome.
  • The Continued Regression of a Once Sensational Band

Frankly, I don’t understand how this album has 5 stars. Skillet was one of my favorite bands growing up but they have largely become a disappointment. As much as I try to stay open-minded and not judge art, this is dreadful compared to Skillet’s older albums. Skillet claims the title of rock band, but this isn’t rock. Additionally, in most cases, as long as there’s no actual malice involved, I’m willing to display some degree of decorum and excuse an artist’s actions. That being said, John Cooper’s political foolhardiness makes this band even harder to enjoy. I believe people are entitled to their own opinions, but as a person who holds a large degree of influence over impressionable youths, there is a point at which expressing your (very extreme) personal opinions becomes dangerous. Cooper is quickly drawing close to that point. I harbor no dislike or hatred for this group. In fact, they will always hold a special place in my heart; theirs was the first real concert I attended. I continue to listen to their older music. Nevertheless, for all of the reasons I’ve provided, I do not enjoy Skillet’s recent work, this album included. Bands change, but that change should be in the direction of improvement. Unfortunately, instead of improving, Skillet has only regressed.
