This ep resonates with my soul. Psalm 102 has taken over my consciousness when life starts to feel overwhelming. Perfect breath of fresh air when chaos is suffocating, reminding me that I am not alone. All the songs are cathartic, and seeing more queer stories in the Christian genre is a much needed reminder that there is a place for me in the Church 😊

I am so thankful to Semler for putting out an album I can listen to with my full self. “Hallelujah” and “Prodigal Girl” are my two favorites but the entire album is beautiful. I only wish it were longer.

There is no such thing as queer Christianity! Gays cannot be Christians and they are not Christians. Wake up church!

  • Blasphemous

This album is completely blasphemous. Listen to the songs if you want, or just read the lyrics online. What this artist conveys in her songs is not Biblical, in fact it glorifies self not God. Maybe this would be a good album for another genre, but it’s definitely not Christian. I pray that the artist seeks peace and comfort in the Father, a lot of her lyrics are concerning and she deserves to live in true freedom.

Semler does it again. Thanks for making space for queer Christians and for drawing us all closer in relationship to the divine
