All of the songs are great and she makes me relate myself to the songs the way I don’t even know
I feel the songs and stories behind them. It’s not just listening to the songs
She is so talented
She makes me emotional even when I don’t understand what she is saying completely

This album is so different from what Moonbyul’s done before, whether with MAMAMOO or as a solo artist. I’m glad she’s able and willing to explore different sides of herself and express them musically. She is genuinely an ARTIST, not just “singer,” “performer,” etc. While I selfishly hope MAMAMOO will perform together until we’re all old and grey, they have all proven themselves capable of making their own way and developing their own interests apart from the group too, and I know their solo careers will shine just as brightly as the group has.

Honestly, this is her best release so far. She’s really happy and really showed her abilities as an artist, a rapper, an Idol, a musician, everything.
The songs slaps hard. Shutdown is stuck in my head, Lunatic too.. all of it.

Moonbyul’s third mini album 6equence is a full narrative detailing the beginnings and endings of love, from the euphoric first meeting to the sensual first moment of passion, the ups and downs and eventually downfall.
She handles each stage with a delicate and thoughtful approach. The two features on her album, Mirani and Seori, perfectly suit each track G999 and Shutdown respectively. The genres of each track perfectly match each stage of the relationship. 90s hip hop for the start, intimate warm sultry R&B, addictive pop, and then bluesy guitar for all of the introspective moments.
She approaches exploring a story of love not often portrayed and does it with such grace and care. Sincerely thank you.
5/5 Byulyi, you knocked it out of the park again.
