What can I say other than this is brilliant from beginning to end. The songs are superb and Larry’s guitar playing and vocals are smooth as butter. The production is top notch and the guest players and singers contribute strongly to the overall quality and energy of this record. Thanks to Joe and Josh for bringing this man to my attention. I got to see Larry perform in New Hampshire recently with The Devon Allman Project. His guitar playing and voice are both remarkable. This newest recording has all the markings of both Blues history and future. These tunes are instantly enjoyable and very easy to appreciate. This is easily my favorite Blues recording so far this year. Thanks to Joe B. for making this happen and helping to bring Larry McCray to our attention. I hope Larry will tour with his own band and consider visiting hes friends & fans in New Hampsire again soon!
