Yes, it's definitely country music in all respects. Orville has a way of grappling you with his lyrics and this album does not disappoint. Are we getting a glimpse into the real Orville Peck history and emotions? I'm captivated.
This album has all the makings for Grammy awards. A perfect blend of catchy up tempo songs and beautiful ballads. A very respectable sophomore album!

This is my favorite album from Orville to date there’s a broad range. His Elvis/Johnny Cash style voice and the accompanying music on every track is perfectly placed. Thank you for gifting us with this beautiful record. I can’t wait to see you in San Diego

From his depression over the Covid shutdown to looking forward to touring again, he has shown exceptional growth in how he feels about himself and how he presents to the world. He has broken down his walls and opened up even further. Exceptional album from an exceptional, queer cowboy.
