Someone actually did it. Someone actually wrote a worship album that sounds different from the mass produced worship sound that is out there today (not that there’s anything majorly wrong with that, but something truly fresh is nice). Not only that the lyrics are deep and full of rich meaning and for the most part aren’t run of the mill basic lyrics. If you actually read the lyrics as you sing along you will be moved. Brooke has given us a lovely folk inspired worship album with more substance than you could ever ask for.

Brooke Ligertwood this album is well done! This is beautifully written with every song placing emphasis on Jesus! This is one album that I am able to listen to from start to finish which is very rare when it comes to a lot of album releases. I must say listening to “Communion” touched my very Soul, it is that powerful! I love all the songs and I pretty much listen to the whole album everyday. Thank You Brooke Ligertwood for this! Thank you to everyone who helped you bring this album to Life! I look forward to the next album! Be Blessed! Here’s to our Lord and Savior King Jesus!!

This album does not disappoint! Every single song is amazing and the presence of God can be felt in both the lyrics and instrumentation.

This woman has exposed the exceedingly shallow and uninspired repetition so prevelant in "christian" music today in just one album. As usual, her lyrics are rich, purposeful, and relentlessly Christ-centered. Her melodies offer unique and soothing sounds that genuinely accomplish comfort for the troubled soul. Every time she gives us a song, she has something of value to say, and that is deeply appreciated. The only con is the Brandon Lake collaboration on Honey In The Rock. A very catchy song ruined before it began because of misguided teamup with someone not worth listening to. May the world of christian music be rid of Bethel before it ruins another song.
