This is a coming of age movie it’s not supposed to be targeted to younger audiences let’s be honest girls when we were teens or preteens did we or did we not get our p****ds we’re we or were we not taught about p*ds everyone did we or did we not have crushes? Literally you guys got it all wrong it’s a movie for people coming of age witch literally are teens and preteens and it’s not just that it’s for them not to be ashamed of them growing up and speaking about how they feel in a relationship and let’s admit it we all go through it once we come to that point so you cannot lie about it and yes some people probably didn’t and they are adults now but that doesn’t mean that they never had a crush or experience certain feelings or changes because everyone goes through it and this movie is trying to teach coming of age kids that kind of lesson

Ok so one day, I saw the trailer for the movie and originally I thought of it as, “oh look another fun cute little Pixar movie for families. But when I read the junior novelization I was shocked and horrified! First they talked about p*ds and per*ods.and then not only did my hero meilin lee draw a merman in her notebook, but it looked nothing like a little mermaid merman. And Tyler was the one who should’ve been grounded cause he’s her ENEMY FOR CRYING OUT LOUD! Plus I’m a Christian so now that me and mom watched, I can’t own it cause of the stupid panda ritual! Maybe if she tried to get rid of it scientifically, mom would have let me. For shame Pixar ! You are so much better than this! (P.s sorry if I was too mean)
