  • Meh.. just not the same

I’ve been a fan of Lep for many decades. I admire them for staying together for over 40 years. However I haven’t been able to get into their music for a long time. The songs for a lack of a better term just sound gimmicky and cheesy. It hard to say that but just can’t into their newer music.
  • Classic Leppard!

I don’t know what I appreciate more about Def Leppard — their music, or the camaraderie and loyal friendship between its members. Those whose knowledge of the band is limited strictly to their music are missing out on the wonderful story behind their music that has made these boys from Sheffield England as good as they are for as long as we’ve had ‘em. They literally consider each other FAMILY and their loyalty to that is ironclad (God, how the world needs more of that). Their camaraderie & lifetime loyal friendship has provided the fertile soil for their musicianship to bloom, allowing them to synergistically produce some of the most emotion-evoking masterpieces of musical artistry the world’s library of music has in it! This album is full of that good classic Def Leppard sound and feel that their fans have come to love. Don’t let the naysayers behind the minority poor reviews or negative comments fool you. In this album we find Joe Elliott’s vocals are as good as they’ve ever been, if not better! Joe is a matured vocalist whose emotive style of singing has always drawn me in and stirred my soul. Worldclass! Same with the masterful guitar compositions and performances by the greats, Phil Collen and Vivian Campbell! Astoundingly great guitarwork by those guys! And the basswork and percussion supporting it all by Rick Savage and Rick Allen, upholds that classic signature Leppard sound! This is an album worthy of bearing the Def Leppard name and logo, and of inclusion in any music lover’s library. It’s in mine and I enjoy it immensely! A hearty THANK YOU to the boys of Def Leppard, for all the years of sharing with us your very special soul-stirring brand of music — and for your warm example of loyalty to friendship and family that this ol’ world is thirsting for and in dire need of.

Just saw them in concert twice within the last year. There’s some great songs on this which they played in concert. They will always be favorite rock band.

The bands early eightied albums will always be my favorites, you lnow the ones "On Through The Night" and "High And Dry". In '83 "Pyromania" was released and that was pretty the end of the band's New Wave Of British Heavy Metal influences. Surprisingly "Pyromania" became a hot item with hits like "Photograph", "Rock Of Ages" and "Foolin'". Their next album "Hysteria" released in 1987 would be the band's best selling album. This latest release is heavy with a sprinkling of ballads. The band still has it's chops and is currently on tour.

This is one of my favorite albums to come out since Wolfgang VH's album. The quality of these songs is amazing. Interestingly the lead off single is probably my least favorite of the album. These guys deserve to headline the stadium tour every single night, they are so far above everybody else on that bill, and they can still pull it off live. Much respect gentleman, this is a top quality album. Please don't listen to clowns like Nikki Sixx who says nobody buys albums anymore...... your fans absolutely love getting full studio albums, especially of this quality. Well done sirs!

I have had this album since it was released. I was very impressed by how fresh the band sounded and the different styles of music throughout this album. I wasn't looking for Pyromania or Hysteria II....but something from the heart and soul of Def Leppard in this day and time and this album has it!! Thanks for the music, guys! ❤️❤️

I’m more of a diehard Led Zeppelin fan. More into the classic hard rock than the 80s glam hard rock. But I must say Def Leppard has really done a great job with their new album. Great music and lyrics. Def Leppard gets an A from me👍.
